Maurice's Treats Coming to Disneyland's Fantasy Faire

Maurice's Treats inside Disneyland's new Fantasy Faire, slated to open March 12, is destined to be a favorite for many Disneyland guests. Themed to look like Maurice's wood-cutting machine in Beauty and the Beast, is sure to capture the curiosity of children looking to experience a little Disney magic straight from the movie.

Maurice's Treats will feature three incredible bread twists: strawberry, chocolate and garlic cheese. Each of the pastries will cost under $5 and are absolutely delicious. My favorite is the garlic cheese; it is savory...and cheesy and a fantastic snack for adults looking for snack other than a churro. I know that this will definitely be my go-to treat once it opens. The chocolate and strawberry almond cream versions are excellent as well, with the strawberry being the sweeter of the two options. I think the chocolate would be delicious with a cup of coffee.

In addition, Maurice's will also offer an incredible Boysen Apple Freeze. The drink is 100% apple juice with natural berry flavoring added. On top is a delicious mango froth that includes NO DAIRY. This drink is a fantastic alternative to soda and can be purchased in one of two souvenir cups.

Contrary to rumors being spread in Disney cyberspace, Dole Whips will NOT be sold in the Fantasy Faire, according to Karlos Siqueiros, Food and Beverage Concept Manager at Disneyland.

We will have much more on Fantasy Faire, so stay tuned!

Thanks for clearing up that rumor, Lisa! I was at the Blue Sky Cellar last night and they even mention it in passing (maybe as a "possibility" in the film shown there, so I can see why there might be confusion.

Ohh yumm! Also I'm kinda glad they're not putting Dole Whips in Fantasyland, it wouldn't fit in
