Monday Must Have: Mutsy 4Rider Light Review + Mutsy Grow-Up! Booster Seat Giveaway

Today I am happy to review the Mutsy 4Rider Light stroller.  Mutsy has been a well-known stroller company in Europe since 1935.  While styles have changed a bit in the last 76 years, one thing hasn't--Mutsy's commitment to well made strollers that provide comfort for both children and their parents.

What makes the Mutsy 4Rider Light great?
Mutsy's unique, sleek, modern design appeals to parents in Europe and the U.S. and are owned by many famous celebrity families.  The 4Rider stroller line allows parents the ability to customize their baby's ride with different seats, baskets, trays and more.  For this review, I had the Musty 4Rider Light.  Don't let the name fool you; this is not a flimsy, lightweight stroller.  The 4Rider Light is a heavy duty stroller weighing in at 19 pounds without its seat and 29 pounds with the seat and optional shopping basket (at least according to my bathroom scale).  Just because it's an "all duty" stroller, it is super easy to maneuver and my son loves sitting in it.  I can tell he is really comfortable and enjoys sitting up high and not cruising at ground level.  I like to think of this stroller as the Land Rover of strollers: It's heavy duty and durable, yet a joy to drive and super luxurious.

Why is the Mutsy 4Rider Light great for trips to Disneyland?

• The upright position allows babies who sit up the ability to feel like they are part of the action.  Baby C loved sitting up high! 
• The seat is very, very comfortable for baby.  It is very padded and fully (and easily) reclines for baby's nap time. The padded restraints are easy to adjust.
• The stroller is incredibly easy to maneuver and is a dream for really tall parents because of its adjustable handle.  My husband is 6ft, 4in tall and he loved not having to bend over to push the stroller.  That was a first for him.
• The optional shopping basked easily clips on to the stroller and provided us more storage than we knew what to do with!  It was amazing!
• The stroller takes curbs like a dream.  It some how felt easier to maneuver through crowds than a traditional stroller.
• My kid-less girlfriend even offered to push it and thought it was fun.  Seriously!
  

Anything else?  

• Without the optional shopping basket, the stroller would not have enough storage.  I love that you can customize your stroller to have a variety of different options and really make it your own to fit your family's specific needs.  Strollers can be tricked out with bassinets, dinner trays, standing boards, and much more.
  
• This stroller is pretty awesome and is like a tank.  If you are on baby number one and thinking about having more kids, this stroller will last through all of your children...and beyond.  That being said, this is not a lightweight stroller, so if you are looking for something super lightweight, this is not for you.  It is important to note, however, that even though the stroller may weigh more than a lightweight stroller it is just as easy--scratch that...easier--to push and maneuver.
• How much does the Mutsy 4Rider Light cost?  My stroller, as pictured with the seat and shopping basket retails for approximately $600.  And while that cost isn't for everyone, the same Mutsy quality, ease of use, and durability is available in a variety of price points.
